Amigos Aviation has been in the
commercial charter company since 1988 when father and son, Mike
Carey Sr. and Mike Carey Jr. began transporting hunters to and from
retreats in Mexico with one plane and a little extra time on the
weekends. Over the next few years Amigos Aviation diversified
to other markets such as freight transport and executive travel as
well as air ambulance services and the fleet continued to
grow. Today, the company is located at the Gulf Aviation FBO
in Harlingen, Texas across the runway from the Valley International
Airport and boasts a fleet of 9 Cessna 401s and 421s and 8 pilots.
